Modern browsers include pop-up blockers. If your browser is Internet Explorer 6 or higher, the blocker is set to stop most pop ups. However, STaRS uses links to windows that might not open well if the pop-up blocker blocks them. To turn it off for the STaRS site, follow these steps.
1. From the main menu select Tools > Pop-up Blocker > Pop-up Blocker
Settings or Tools > Internet
Options > Privacy > Settings
2. Type or copy and paste the STaRS URL address in the Address of Web site to allow field. The Add button will be enabled.
3. Click Add. The address will be added to the list in the Allowed sites box. The Allowed sites are web sites for which the pop-up blocker is turned off.
4. Click Close.
